Our residential architecture work spans a broad range of scales, from small infill sites within established neighbourhoods to large scale masterplanning and Large Scale Residential Development (LRD) schemes. Across every project, we bring the same care, attention, and design rigour to creating well considered homes and neighbourhoods.

COMMA specialise in mid to large scale residential projects from concept to construction providing Architectural Design,Planning, Building Contract Administration, Design Certifier and Assigned Certifier services.

We understand the pressures faced by our clients and developers and provide services tailored to suit the specifics of each project.

Our experience spans the public and private sectors, including Design & Build, Traditional Contract and Public Form of Contract types for traditional build and MMC construction.

We have a deep respect for Ireland's built heritage and a proven track record working with Protected Structures. COMMA are RIAI accredited in Conservation at Grade III, and we understand the delicate balance between preserving what matters and adapting spaces for modern life. Whether it's a historic home, a public building or a sensitive urban setting, we approach conservation work with patience, expertise and an eye for detail.

Good design deserves equally good delivery. Our team holds qualifications in Building Project Management and membership of the Project Managers Institute (PMI), meaning we bring structured, professional oversight to every project. We coordinate across disciplines, manage timelines and budgets, and keep our clients informed and confident at every step.

From commercial fitouts in historically sensitive buildings to contemporary office interiors, we create interior environments that reflect our clients' identity and serve their practical needs. We've delivered fitout projects for clients including Costa Coffee, working efficiently across multiple locations without ever compromising on quality or character.

COMMA Architects provide services as RIAI trained and accredited Project Supervisors for Design Process (PSDP) under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.

Sustainability and quality in the built environment are central to our work. We are proud to be accredited as Home Performance Index (HPI) Assessors, Ireland's national certification system for new homes.
